When it all just ‘clicks’.

Sometimes, everything works together in a beautiful way.

I love to create really special experiences as part of my Family Photo Sessions. I work hard to do this, and am always really pleased when families tell me how much they have enjoyed themselves or how much of a blast the kids have had.

Sometimes though, I don’t really have to do much at all. Sometimes, families have a really strong idea already and are excited to discuss it with me, which always a pleasure. This was the case with the Nice Family. No really, that is their name! And yes, they really did live up to it. A family who were totally at ease with each other. Four children who were gorgeous, inside and out. Plus a very cute dog to add to the mix.

I was lucky enough to be taken on a very special walk with them, a place where they love to go as a family, a place of memories: a favourite place where once upon a time a marriage proposal was asked and accepted. The beginning of their very own family story. And I got to capture this stage of their story for them, in this special place. For me as a photographer, it just doesn’t get any better.
