The day that Iggle-Piggle and Upsy-Daisy came to town

As well as meeting lots and lots of lovely families in my work, I also get to meet some fabulous businesses. When I first heard of the new Mummas & Beans cafe in Godalming, Surrey, my immediate thought was “I wish that had been around when my kids were under-five!”. When you are a mummy of little ones, to find a place to go and have a nice coffee (and cake of course) that is truly child and baby-friendly is a godsend. To find that it offers treatments and classes as well makes it a complete delight in my view!

So when I was asked to cover their launch party a couple of weeks ago, I knew it was going to be busy….. especially when I found out that the one and only Iggle-Piggle and Upsy-Daisy were going to be making a guest appearance as well – they are almost like celebs in the pre-school world!!

Even though it was bucketing it down outside, it did indeed turn out to be a extremely busy launch party, with champagne flowing, cake samples (I can officially confirm they were delicious), craft activities for the children with Act One Adventures and free treatments available. And if you have little ones and live locally, I would definitely recommend a visit – it really is a wonderful space and venue, situated in the centre of Godalming, with a car park a few steps away.
