A very wise person once said “The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray“. Which, as far as I can see, basically means that you can never quite tell what kind of curveball life may throw at you. If you remember, my last blog post made definite promises of lots of lovely Photo Sessions to show you. Which there still are. But life threw my family a little curveball a few weeks ago when my eldest daughter, age 7, managed to sustain a horrible injury with a multiple compound fracture to her arm, resulting in 2 hours of surgery whilst having 2 metal plates to help fix her bones back together. (And yes, it definitely was the longest 2 hours of my life!)
This, of course, meant that she took top priority for a few weeks and I did have to reschedule all my work commitments radically. I would like to say a huge thank-you to all my lovely clients who have been very understanding.
I am *nearly* back on track now and hoping to catch up with some blog posts very soon. And here is my little superstar – she has been amazingly brave and stoic all throughout and I am so very proud of her.
Kx
She really is a superstar – and well done you for holding yourself together all the way through what must have been an awful time for your family. Good to see her happy and smiling and making a very fine accessory of her sling!
Thank you Kate x
